Collaborative Library Space
Fourth Year at CIT included a year-long project of renovate a Heritage Building. The building I have chosen, is St. Patrick's Church in Fermoy - a town on the North of Cork. The proposed use for the ecclesiastical structure is only a concept for the future use, since the church still remains as chapel use. A collaborative library area with a cafe and a small cinema is a great space for students, parents and community members to collaborate, relax or study. Soft aesthetic bamboo features are carried throughout the building, providing a delicate and unique design and view. Pops of yellow colour on furniture makes the space even more enjoyable.
